BROTHERLY LOVE – Thursday night will be the second matchup between the Walsh brothers. Lewis junior
Bobby Walsh (Chicago, Ill./Mount Carmel) ranks first in the nation in blocks with an average of 1.53 per set. His younger brother Matt Walsh plays for the Ball State Cardinals. Matt is averaging 1.48 per set.
FOUR MORE – Lewis is 9-0 in set number four this year.
GREAT WALL OF LEWIS – The Flyers lead the nation in blocks with 3.18 per set.
ALL WE DO IS WIN – Lewis' 17 wins this season are tied for the second most wins in the nation. Hawaii also has 17 wins. UC Irvine owns 18 wins.

RPI TIME – The first RPI rankings for men's volleyball were released by the NCAA on Monday. The rankings help the NCAA Tournament Selection Committee decide the at-large berths in the tournament. Hawaii, UC Irvine, Loyola, Lewis and Pepperdine hold down the top five spots.

IT'S A MAJOR AWARD – Junior
Bobby Walsh (Chicago, Ill./Mount Carmel) won both the Sports Imports/American Volleyball Coaches Association National Player of the Week and the Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association Defensive Player of the Week awards on Feb. 22 after recording 12 blocks in a 3-1 win over Penn State on Feb. 20.

MIVA HONORS – Other than Walsh, two other Flyers have won a weekly MIVA honor this year. Senior
Greg Petty (Downers Grove, Ill./Downers Grove North) was named Offensive Player of the Week on Jan. 13 and senior
Geoff Powell (Claremont, Calif./Claremont) earned the same honor on Feb. 10.
