Evansville, Ind. - The Lewis University men's tennis team got off to a slow start, as No. 25 Southern Indiana picked up all three doubles matches on their way to the 6-3 Great Lakes Valley Conference win over the visiting Flyers at Wesselman's Park on Saturday (March 28) afternoon.
"It's disappointing to be down 0-3 after doubles," Lewis assistant men's tennis coach
Uno Lapimaa said. "We need to learn from it and get ready for a tough weekend ahead."
With the win, Southern Indiana improves to 9-5 overall and 2-1 in GLVC action, while the Flyers fall to 8-5 on the campaign and 1-1 in GLVC action.
The Flyers managed all three of their victories from No. 1 through No. 3 singles.
