Lewis took control of the second set midway through the frame thanks to six straight points. Walsh had two kills and a block assist in the run.

Quincy's only lead of the match came in the third set at 3-2 following a Jarrod Kelso ace. The Flyers scored consecutive points on eight occasions to cruise to the eight-point win in the third to take the match.

Lewis out-hit Quincy .486 to .222. Junior Scott Fifer (Orland Park, Ill./Sandburg) dished out 34 assists for Lewis.

Powell hit .667 with 12 kills with six digs and two aces. Petty added 11 kills, four digs and an ace.

"Geoff did some really nice things tonight including a few really impressive plays," Friend said.
