No. 13 Drury Drops Lewis Men's Tennis, 5-1, In NCAA Regionals

Aunapuu/Levandi upset No. 11 Hepp and Nadal at No. 1 doubles for Flyers.

The Lewis University men's tennis team managed an upset at No. 1 doubles, but could not garner any momentum as No. 13 Drury University earned the 5-1 win over the Flyers in a NCAA Midwest Regional Tournament match at the Cooper Tennis Complex on Saturday (May 2) afternoon.

With the win, Drury improves to 22-1 on the campaign, while Lewis ends its season with a record of 12-9.

Lewis' No. 1 doubles team of seniors Armand Levandi (Tallinn, Estonia/Audentese Spordigumnaasiumi) and Erik Aunapuu (Tallinn, Estonia/Audentese Spordigumnaasiumi) claimed the 8-3 triumph over No. 11 Maximillian Hepp and Jorge Nadal for the Flyers' lone victory of the day.
