Flyers fall 156-103 to Truman State and defeat Maryville 211-23

KIRKSVILLE, MO.
- The Lewis men's swimming team, led by three victories from redshirt sophomore Mads Knoblauch (Svenborg, Denmark/Svenborg Gymnasium), split a double dual meet on Saturday (Oct. 15), as the Flyers defeated Maryville, 211-23, but fell to host Truman State, 156-103.

Knoblauch touched first in the 100-yard backstroke (52.33) and 200-yard backstroke (1:54.44). He was also a member of the first-place 400-yard medley relay (3:31.57) with freshman Jesse Drake (Goshen, Ind./Northridge), sophomore Colin Williams (Elk Grove, Ill./Elk Grove) and senior Adam Wise (Ocala, Fla./Forest).

Williams was also victorious in the 100-yard butterfly (51.68).

The Flyers are back in action on Friday (Oct. 21) for a 5 PM ET meet at Grand Valley State.
