By Dan MusilekBig Rapids, Mich. – The Lewis University men's tennis team fell 7-2 against Ferris State on Sunday (Feb. 21) afternoon at the Ferris State Racquet & Fitness Center.
With the victory, the Bulldogs improve to 5-1 on the season, while the Flyers fall to 2-1 on the campaign.
At No. 1 doubles, Lewis freshman
Alan Braschinsky (Tallinn, Estonia/Milna Harma) and junior
Mate Srdanovic (Split, Croatia/Graditeljsko-Geodetska Tehnicka) paired up for the 9-8 (5) victory over Ferris State's Vasil Surduk and Nur Adim Ramdani Iswan. Srdanovic also earned the Flyers lone singles victory, defeating Iswan 6-1, 6-2 at No. 2 singles.
The Flyers return to action this Friday (Feb. 26) as they head to Springfield, Mo., to face Drury in a non-conference match-up at 8 PM.
