Romeoville, Ill. - The Lewis University Athletics Department will introduce the All-Decades (1990s) Men's Basketball Team on Saturday (Jan. 28) at halftime of the Flyers' showdown against Illinois Springfield (3 PM).

The team includes John Adams, Rich Aigner, Marc Boone, Zeke Clerk, Tarrie Monroe, Milosh Pujo, Scott Riley, Roger Suchy, Josh Virostko and Jeremy Warner.

This is the fourth consecutive year that Lewis has celebrated an All-Decades Team, as they have feted the Flyer standouts from the 1950s and 60s (2014), 1970s (2015) and 1980s (2016).

"The Lewis men's basketball team has had a rich tradition," Lewis Director of Athletics Dr. John Planek said. "Bringing these men back to campus recognizes their contributions to the program."

The Flyers will also retire the No. 44 of former Lewis great Wayne Molis. He will join the previously retired numbers of Tom Kennedy (#14) and Larry Tucker (#52) in the rafters of Neil Carey Arena.

Molis, a 1980 inductee into the Lewis Athletics Hall of Fame, competed fo the Flyers from 1963-65. He was the team MVP following the 1964-65 campaign, as he averaged a team-best 23.3 points-per-game for Lewis. Following that season, Molis was drafted in the 10th round by the New York Knicks. He still holds the Lewis school-record for field goals in a game with 20 buckets against Chicago Teachers College in the 1963-64 campaign.

John Adams (1988-90, 1991-93) - Adams, a 2001 Lewis Hall of Fame inductee, is 18th in school-history in scoring with 1,272 points. He ranks in several categories in the Lewis career record book including blocked shots (4th, 96), field goal percentage (7th, .592), rebounding average (8th, 6.897), field goals made (9th, 498), free throws made (9th, 275), rebounds (9th, 607). His name is also represented on the single-season, school-records including scoring average (2nd, 20.9 ppg., '92-93), rebounding average (4th, 9.807 rpg., '92-93), field goals (9th, 210, '92-93), points (10th, 544, '92-93) and field goal percentage (10th, .6245, '91-92). He was named to the All-Great Lakes Valley Conference First Team in 1993 and All-GLVC Second Team in 1992.

Rich Aigner (1990-94) - Aigner, a 1999 Lewis Hall of Fame inductee, is third in school-history in scoring with 1,830 points. He was a two-year captain for the Flyers from 1992-94 and started 109 out of 110 games during his career. As a senior, he led the Great Lakes Valley Conference in scoring with 21 points-per-game on his way to All-GLVC and All-District First Team honors. In 1992-93, Aigner claimed All-GLVC Second Team and All-District First Team accolades. He is ranked in Lewis' Top Ten career categories in three-pointers (3rd, 189), free throws made (4th, 387), field goals made (4th, 627), steals (t-5th, 152), rebounding average (7th, 7.3 rpg.), assists (8th, 298) and free throw percentage (8th, .8096).

Marc Boone (1994-98) - Boone is 28th in school history with 1,136 points, averaging 10.5 points-per-game. He is well represented in the Lewis career record books in assists (335, 5th), three-pointers (152, 6th), free throw percentage (81.0%, 7th), steals (143, 7th) and assists-per-game average (3.1 apg., 7th).

Zeke Clerk (1993-97) - Clerk is 29th in school-history with 1,129 points scored. He is eighth in school history in career free throws made (278). He appeared in 108 games, including 78 starts, and averaged 10.5 points-per-game.

Tarrie Monroe (1999-2000) - Monroe played one season for the Flyers, but was a dominant performer who averaged 17.3 points and 10.3 rebounds-per-game on his way to National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) All-America, All-Region and All-GLVC First Team accolades.

Milosh Pujo (1995-99) - Pujo, a 2004 Lewis Hall of Fame inductee, is the leading scorer in Lewis history in the Division II era with 1,880 points (16.9 ppg.) and second in scoring overall. He was the team's leading scorer in his sophomore (17.0 ppg.), junior (18.1 ppg.) and senior (20.1 ppg.) seasons, becoming just the second Flyer to top the team scoring chart three times. As a freshman, Pujo was named the GLVC Newcomer of the Year and earned Division II Bulletin National All-Freshman team honors. A three-time team MVP and All-Region selection, Pujo was a three-time All-GLVC First Team selection. Following his senior campaign, Pujo was named to the NCAA Division II All-America team by the NABC, Basketball Times and Basketball News.

Scott Riley (1994-98) - A 6-foot-6 forward, Riley is fourth in school-history with a .581 career field goal percentage. He appeared in 109 games, including 78 starts, and scored 621 points.

Roger Suchy (1994-96) - An All-GLVC Second Team selection in 1996, Suchy appeared in 27 games, including 23 starts, and averaged 15.0 points-per-game. He knocked down 53.8% (35-for-65) of his three-point attempts in 1995-96, good for second in school-history for a single season.

Josh Virostko (1998-2001) - Virostko appeared in 79 games for the Flyers and is seventh in school-history with 151 three-pointers. In 2000-01, he had his best season as a Flyer, leading the squad in scoring with 14.5 points-per-game on his way to All-GLVC Second Team accolades. He holds Lewis' single-season record for free throw percentage, as he knocked down 96.1% (49-for-51) of his attempts in 2000-01.

Jeremy Warner (1998-2000) - Warner was an Honorable Mention All-GLVC selection in 1999-2000, as he averaged 11.8 points and 9.4 rebounds-per-game. For his career, Warner averaged 9.3 points and 7.8 rebounds-per-contest in 56 games played.

Lewis returns to action on Thursday (Jan. 26), as the Flyers welcome McKendree to Neil Carey Arena for a 7:30 PM tip-off.
