Charleston, Ill. - Lewis University men's swimming went head-to-head with Eastern Illinois Saturday (Oct. 14) losing on the road 112-93.

Lewis won a few events for the meet the first coming from Adam Tapia (Clearwater, FL/Tarpon Springs High) who took first in the 1000 yard freestyle with 10:04.19. Tapia also placed first in the 500 yard freestyle with 4:51.70.

Colin Williams (Elk Grove, Ill./Elk Grove) came in first for the 100 yard butterfly finishing in 51.60.

In the 100 yard backstroke Mads Knoblauch (Svenborg, Denmark/Svenborg Gymnasium) placed first with 52.88.

The Flyers will travel to Allendale, Michigan October 21 to face Grand Valley State for their next meet.
