Romeoville, Ill. - The No. 3 Lewis University women's volleyball team took advantage of 34 UW-Parkside hitting and service errors, as the host Flyers claimed the 25-15, 25-18, 25-18 Great Lakes Valley Conference win over the Rangers on Tuesday (Oct. 3) at Neil Carey Arena.
UW-Parkside was held to a -.075 (20 kills, 28 errors, 107 attacks) hitting percentage and committed six service errors.
With the victory, Lewis improves to 15-1 overall and 7-0 in GLVC action, while extending its winning streak to 10 matches. That match equals the Flyers' longest winning streak of the 2016 campaign. UW-Parkside falls to 7-9 on the season and 5-3 in conference play.

Elizabeth Hyland (Plainfield, Ill./Plainfield Central) narrowly missed a double-double with nine kills and 10 digs.

Ronni Katarzynski (Winfield, Ill./West Chicago) collected a match-high 13 digs.
Lewis hit .184 (34-16-98) as a team.
Lewis returns to action on Friday (Oct. 6), as the Flyers welcome William Jewell to Neil Carey Arena for a 7 PM first serve.
