Romeoville, Ill. - Ten different players recorded at least one kill as the No. 3 Lewis University women's volleyball team earned the 25-10, 25-23, 25-20 Great Lakes Valley Conference victory over William Jewell College at Neil Carey Arena on Friday (Oct. 6).
Lewis sophomore outside hitter
Alexandra Preuss (Elmhurst, Ill./York) notched a match-high nine kills, while junior outside hitter
Elizabeth Hyland (Plainfield, Ill./Plainfield Central) picked up eight kills and eight digs in the victory.
With the victory, Lewis extends its winning streak to 11 matches and improves its record to 16-1 overall and 8-0 in GLVC action. William Jewell falls to 5-12 on the campaign and 2-6 in conference play.

Ronni Katarzynski (Winfield, Ill./West Chicago) picked up a match-high 15 digs in two sets.
The Flyers recorded a hitting percentage of .180 (37 kills, 17 errors, 111 attacks), while William Jewell hit ,009 (24-23-114).
Lewis returns to action on Saturday (Oct. 7), as they welcome Truman State to Neil Carey Arena for a 3 PM first serve.
