Romeoville, Ill. - The No. 3 Lewis University women's volleyball team avenged its lone Great Lakes Valley Conference loss of the season with a 25-20, 25-22, 25-15 sweep over Bellarmine University at Neil Carey Arena on Tuesday (Nov. 7).
Bellarmine defeated the then No. 1 Flyers, 25-18, 26-28, 25-18, 13-25, 15-13 on October 21st in Louisville.
With the win, Lewis improves to 26-2 on the campaign and 15-1 in GLVC action, while the Knights fall to 22-7 overall and 12-5 in conference play.
Six Flyers registered at least five kills on the evening, led by a match-high 13 putaways by redshirt senior right side hitter
Maddie Seliga (St. Louis, Mo./Nerinx Hall). Seliga hit .458 (13 kills, 2 errors, 24 attacks) and added seven digs in the victory.

Abby Becker (Menomonee Falls, Wis./Menomonee Falls) added a match-high 36 assists - including her 3,000th career helper - while hitting .857 (6-0-7) with six kills and six digs.
Flyer sophomore libero
Ronni Katarzynski (Winfield, Ill./West Chicago) contributed a match-high 27 digs.Â
Lewis hit .307 (48-13-114) as a team, while the Knights recorded a hitting percentage of .144 (37-19-25).
Lewis returns to action on Friday (Nov. 10), as the Flyers host Southern Indiana for a 7 PM first serve.
