Romeoville, Ill. - Saturday (Dec. 2), Lewis University faced William Jewell in a head to head at home losing to the Cardinals 141-121.

Gabby Jeffers (South Bend, Ind./John Adams) had a solid performance placing first in two events, one being the 50 yard freestyle with 25.43 while the other being the 100 yard backstroke with 59.91.

Caitlin Krull (Orland Park, Ill./Sandburg) finished first in the 500 yard freestyle with 5:09.92. She also finished first in the 200 yard freestyle with 1:59.43.

In the 200 yard butterfly Shelby Gertson (Phoenix, AZ/Seton Catholic Preparatory) came in first with 2:15.49.

Finishing first in the 200 yard backstroke was Stephanie Palczynski (Warrenville, IL/Wheaton Warrenville South High School) who finished the race in 2:09.90.

Indian River State College will host Lewis for its next meet on January 3 in Fort Pierce, Florida.
