Romeoville, Ill. - The NCAA announced Wednesday (Feb. 22) that Shannon Sullivan (Elmhurst, Ill./York ) of Lewis University women's swimming was selected to compete in the NCAA Division II National Championships.

The senior earned the selection after swimming a season- and career-best 1:51.20 in the 200 yard freestyle.

"Qualifying for NCAA's is a major achievement and it shows the value of the work she's put in for years." Lewis women's swimming head coach Roger Karns said.

Sullivan will compete in the National Championships when they're held March 8-11 in Birmingham, Alabama.
