Romeoville, Ill. - The No. 8 Lewis University men's volleyball team hit a robust .389 (29 kills, 8 errors, 54 attacks) in the 25-11, 25-11, 25-18 Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association sweep over Quincy University at Neil Carey Arena on Friday (Feb. 3).
Lewis redshirt sophomore opposite hitter
Mitch Perinar (Channahon, Ill./Minooka) finished with a match-high 11 kills, four block assists and a hitting percentage of .588 (11-1-17). Quincy finished with 19 kills for the entire match and hit -.066 (19-24-76) as a team.
With the win, Lewis improves to 7-2 on the campaign and 2-1 in MIVA action, while the Hawks fall to 3-5 overall and 1-1 in conference play.
