Denver, Colo. - The No. 3 Lewis University women's volleyball team committed just four hitting errors and recorded a .484 (48 kills, 4 errors, 91 attacks) hitting percentage in the 25-14, 25-17, 25-22 non-conference victory over West Florida at the Colorado Premier Challenge, hosted by Metro State, at the Auraria Event Center on Friday (Sept. 8) afternoon.
Lewis' .484 hitting percentage is the best conversion rate by a
Lorelee Smith coached squad since the Flyers hit .480 (39-3-75) against Indianapolis on November 11, 2016.
With the win, Lewis improves to 5-0, while the Argonauts fall to 3-2.

Elizabeth Hyland (Plainfield, Ill./Plainfield Central) recorded a match-high 15 kills and hit .609 (15-1-23), while redshirt junior setter
Abby Becker (Menomonee Falls, Wis./Menomonee Falls) had a double-double of 38 assists and 10 digs. Flyer sophomore libero
Ronni Katarzynski (Winfield, Ill./West Chicago) had a match-high 11 digs in the victory.
