Romeoville, Ill. - Friday (Jan. 19) the Lewis University men's swim team celebrated senior night and came away with the victory in the head-to-head against Lincoln College 112-49.

Senior Mads Knoblauch (Svenborg, Denmark/Svenborg Gymnasium) took first in the 100 yard butterfly finishing in 51.18. Knoblauch also set a pool record in the 200 yard backstroke in the time trials with 1:50.57.

Also scoring in the 100 fly was senior Alexander Kotevski (Eksiltuna, Sweden) who took second with 52.96.

Senior Jake Sater (South Bend, Ind./Riley) also scored for the Flyers thanks to a third place finish in the 50 yard freestyle.

The next meet for Lewis will be against Valparaiso on January 20.
