INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Lewis men's swimming team recorded two event wins and had top eight finishes in 18 of 20 events at the University of Indianapolis Quad Meet in Indianapolis, Ind., on Friday and Saturday.

Guillame Bolivard won the 50 yard freestyle with a time of 20.82 while Yurri Kharko finished fourth in the event in a time of 21.10. Bolivard finished second in the 100 yard individual medley with a time of 53.44.

The Flyers' 200 yard freestyle relay team of Kharko, Colin Williams (Elk Grove, Ill./Elk Grove), Jared Stigant (Edgemead, Cape Town/South African College Schools) and Bolivard won the event with a time of 1:24.13, while Lewis' second team in that event – with Kyle Curtis (Reno, Nev./Bishop Manogue), Helio Meggito Pereira (), Rhys Taylor (Nottingham, England/National C of E Academy) and Brock Star (Grandville, Mich./Grandville) - finished fifth in 1:29.28.

The Flyers' 200 yard individual medlay relay team of Diego Saez-Illobre Molinero (Madrid, Spain/Colegio Montserrat), Pereira, Williams and Kharko finished second with a time of 1:35.38.
Saez-Illobre Molinero took second in the 200 yard backstroke in a time of 1:53.90.

Lewis' 400 yard freestyle relay team of Kharko, Star, Stigant and Bolivard took third in the event with a time of 3:07.72, while the Flyers' second team in that event – with Taylor, Curtis, Jeremy Burbrink (Goshen, Ind./Northridge) and Jackson Mugg (Cheyenne, Wyoming/Cheyenne East) – finished seventh in 3:18.24.

Lewis' 400 yard medley relay team of Saez-Illobre Molliner, Pereira, Williams and Kharko took third in the event with a time of 3:29.88.

Taylor and Mugg took fourth and sixth place respectively in the 1,000 yard freestyle with times of 9:47.92 and 10:06.59.

Saez-Illobre Molinero and Burbrink took sixth and eighth respectively in the 200 yard individual medley with times of 2:00.58 and 2:01.86.

The Flyers head to Hillsdale, Mich., next weekend to take on Hillsdale College and the University of Findlay in a tri-meet beginning at 1 p.m. (CT).
