ROMEOVILLE, Ill. – Lewis University women's track and field team won the Benedictine University Invite with 239 points while Lewis' men's track and field team took third with 133.5 points at the Benedictine Invite on Friday, April 9 at Benedictine University in Lisle, Ill.
The Flyer women recorded 38 top eight finishes at the meet while the men recorded 24 top eight finishes.
Allison Heinzer (Sugar Grove, Ill./Kaneland HS) recorded the only NCAA II provisional qualifying marks on the day as she improved her times in both the 200 and 400 meters.
