Lewis Women’s Golf Has Three Named WGCA All-American Scholars

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – The Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) announced their list of All-American Scholars which included three members of the Lewis University women's golf team on Tuesday (July 6).

Senior Kasey Kane (Texarkana, Tex./Texarkana) made the list for the fourth consecutive time while juniors Caiya Dewitt (Zeeland, Mich./West Ottawa) and Morgan McNulty (Belvidere, Ill./Belvidere) earned the honor for the third time.

In order to qualify for the All-American Scholar Team golfers are required to have a minimum GPA of 3.50.

Kane finished with a 3.95, McNulty with a 3.92 and Dewitt had a 3.73.

About the Women's Golf Coaches Association
The Women's Golf Coaches Association, founded in 1983, is a non-profit organization representing women's collegiate golf coaches. The WGCA was formed to encourage the playing of college golf for women in correlation with a general objective of education and in accordance with the highest tradition of intercollegiate competition. Today, the WGCA represents over 650 coaches throughout the U.S. and is dedicated to educating, promoting and recognizing both its members and the student-athletes they represent.
