ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The Lewis University women's golf team placed eighth at the UMSL Spring Invitational Tuesday (April 13) at Norwood Hills Country Club. The Flyers shot a 307 and 321 Monday and finished with a 308 Tuesday for a 936 total.
No. 17 Grand Valley State won the tournament with an 875 total, while No. 33 Missouri St. Louis was second with an 882 and No. 37 Ferris State was third with an 893. Grand Valley's Heida Rakel Rafnsdottir won the individual tournament with a 212 (-1), while Kamryn Shannon of Ferris State was second with a 213 and Wilma Zanderau was third with a 214.
