PERU, Ind. – The Lewis University women's golf team advanced to match play at the Great Lakes Valley Conference Tournament before losing in the semifinals to top-seeded Indianapolis 4-1 Sunday (April 19) at Rock Hollow Golf Course.
The Flyers earned the No. 4 seed in the tournament, advancing to match play by a stroke over McKendree after shooting a three-round total of 941. Indianapolis earned the top seed with an 890, while Missouri St. Louis was the No. 2 seed with a 910 and Maryville was the No. 3 seed with a 934.
