BIG RAPIDS, Mich. – Lewis University fifth-year senior Kasey Kane (Texarkana, Tex./Texarkana) finished in a tie for second at the Lady Bulldog Fall Invite at the Katke Golf Course in Big Rapids, Mich., on Sunday and Monday (Sept. 26-27). The Flyers finished fifth overall in the event with a score of 635.

Par for the course was 72 and yardage for Sunday's first round was 5,911 yards and the distance for Monday's second round was 6,024 yards.

Kane moved up two spots in the final rankings as she finished the two-day event with a score of 149 (75-74) and was one shot behind Grand Valley's Kay Zubkus. Kane finished her second round with a pair of birdies on holes two and three while shooting a 35 (-1) on the front nine and a 39 (+3) on the back nine.

Freshman Kendall Farm (Carol Stream, Ill./West Chicago) finished in a tie for 24th with a total score of 160 (80-80). She finished her final round with a birdie and 11 pars. Senior Caiya Dewitt (Zeeland, Mich./West Ottawa) was tied for 38th overall with a two-day score of 166 (83-83). She recorded a birdie on the par 4 13th hole and also had seven pars in her round.

Junior Sarah Breslin (Du Quoin, Ill./Pinckneyville) and senior Morgan McNulty (Belvidere, Ill./Belvidere) finished tied for 41st and 54th with scores of 167 (82-89) and 172 (90-82) respectively. Breslin had a birdie on the par 5 sixth hole and finished with six pars in her second round while McNulty also birdied the sixth hole and had parred eight holes in her final round.

Sophomore Molly St. Clair (Evansville, Ind./Evansville Central), competing as an individual, finished tied for 61st in the event with a two-day total of 175 (90-85). In Monday's final round she recorded par on seven holes.

The Flyers are back in action next Monday and Tuesday (Oct. 4-5) hosting the Flyer Intercollegiate at Cog Hill Golf and Country Club on Course No. 2.
