WASHINGTON, Mich.- The Lewis University women's golf team finished in third place at The Warrior Invitational hosted by Wayne State on Sep. 21-22. The Flyers shot 931 (+67) over 54 holes. Senior
Sophia Lawler (Racine, Wis./Prairie) finished sixth, the best out of any Flyer.
Lawler's best round was her third, when she shot 75 (+3) and made three birdies. University of Wisconsin-Parkside's AJ Powell took home first-place individually, finishing at a total of 219 (+3). The Ashland Eagles took home the team win, shooting a total of 913 (+49).
