Lewis Athletics Has 24 Brother James Distinguished Scholar Award Winners

ROMEOVILLE, Ill. – The Great Lakes Valley Conference announced on Wednesday (June 22) that 24 Lewis University student-athletes have earned the Brother James Gaffney, FSC Distinguished Scholar Award.

The award is named after Gaffney, who served as Lewis' President for 27 years and was a two-term Chair of the GLVC Council of Presidents. The award is awarded to student-athletes who achieve a perfect 4.0 cumulative grade point average during the course of the academic year.
