ROMEOVILLE, Ill. - The Intercollegiate Tennis Association announced Tuesday (July 12) that the Lewis University men's tennis team had four student athletes listed as 2022 Division II ITA Scholar Athletes. The team also earned All-Academic Team status.
 
To earn the award, athletes had to earn 3.5 GPAs in the classroom, while teams had to have a GPA of 3.2 or above.
 
David Ambrozic (Portoroz, Slovenia/), Oskar Lusti (Tallinn, Estonia/), Juan Martin Ramirez Mejia (Medellin, Colombia/) and Oliwer Wierzbicki (Szczecin, Poland) were among the 545 student athletes who received the award.
 
The team earned a cumulative GPA of 3.66.
