STRUTHERS, Oh. - The Lewis University bowling team placed eighth at the Penguin Classic Sunday (Oct. 15) at Holiday Bowl. The Flyers topped No. 3 Nebraska for the fifth time in school history and set new program records for high baker game twice in a day.
Erica Lohr (Sun Prairie, Wis./Sun Prairie) and
DeAlani Fishbeck (Lawton, Okla./Lawton) also became the first Flyer duo to each average over 200 in traditional play.

The Flyers also sent a team to the Western Shootout in Indianapolis, Ind. over the weekend. Lewis placed 14th out of 27 teams with an 8,232 total.
