INDIANAPOLIS – The Lewis University women's cross country team was selected to repeat as Great Lakes Valley Conference Champions in the GLVC preseason poll announced Thursday (August 24).
Head Coach
James Kearney enters his 13
th season at the helm of Lewis cross country. Last season, Kearney led the Flyers to a GLVC Championship and a trip to the NCAA Regional Meet, placing seventh.
The preseason poll is selected by the league's head coaches, who, per GLVC Bylaws, are not permitted to vote for their own team.
