ROMEOVILLE, Ill. - Lewis University Athletics has announced a new partnership with Teamworks, an industry leader in promoting efficient communications and processes within collegiate athletic departments.
 
"We are very excited and eager to partner with Teamworks," said Assistant Vice President for Athletics John Ashaolu. "This partnership will allow us to be more effective and efficient with our overall communication between administration, coaching staff and student-athletes.  Streamlining and centralizing our communication will help enhance the operations of our athletic department which will then provide a greater experience for our student-athletes."
  
The comprehensive platform partnership will allow Lewis student-athletes to easily access all information and communication regarding scheduling, compliance, team operations and more through a centralized portal on their mobile phones. Lewis Athletics will be able to utilize Teamworks to enhance internal and external communication and improve the flow of information regarding student-athlete services.  Teamworks simplifies logistics, allowing for minimal distractions to set student-athletes up for success in both the classroom and competition.
 
"I am very excited about the opportunity to work with Teamworks," said Associate Athletic Director for Compliance Ed Schaffer said. "Our coaches and staff are really going to benefit from this since we'll be able to streamline our processes and be more efficient.  This is going to have a tremendous impact on our department."
 
Lewis joins hundreds of other collegiate athletic departments and professional teams in the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, EPL, and MLS through partnership with Teamworks and toward enhancing the student-athlete experience.
