Mount Olive solidified their lead with a three point run jumping out ahead by four at 20-16.

The Flyers were not able to gather a rally and finally fell 25-21 after a kill by Hosic.

SET 2: Lewis 25, Mount Olive 19
Lewis fired first to start the second set with the first kill being by Roquet assisted by Morgan to even the score at 1-1.

After plenty of back and forth scoring from both teams, the Flyers took control with a daunting six point unanswered run started by a kill from Krueger-Beer and ended by an ace by Oguz to propel the Flyers comfortably on top 15-11.

Lewis wasn't done though and later went on another controlling six point unanswered run ending it with another ace, this time by Walenga.

The Trojans attempted to climb their way back into the set with a late push but all for not as a Flyer kill by Wymoczyl closed out set 2 at 25-19.

SET 3: Lewis 30, Mount Olive 28
Mount Olive started off strong out the gates of set three with a kill by Sandvig and back to back aces by lacovou to get on top 3-1.

The Trojans reinforced their lead with a six point unanswered run of their own using a Lewis attack error and ending with a block by Lahey and Maryott to sit comfortably at 10-3.

Lewis showed their fight to chip away at the Mount Olive lead as the set continued, going on a four point run with a service error and three straight kills by Roquet to close the gap at 12-9.

Both sides took turns scoring to try to get ahead in the set but no team gave up anything to work with until a three point run at 21-16 to bring Lewis closer at 21-19. After a service error Mount Olive aimed to close the door on set 3 sitting at 24 points but the Flyers brought themselves back late and tied the set at 24 with another ace by Walenga.

Mount Olive and Lewis fought back and forth trying to get ahead and beat the other by two scores but no team had any luck until Lewis used a Mount Olive serving error and block Shawn Baggs and Oguz to end at the set at 30-28.

SET 4: Mount Olive 27, Lewis 25
To begin set 4 the Flyers took advantage with a three point run ended with an ace by Morgan to get on top 4-2.

Mount Olive worked their way back midway through the set with a three point run of their own to take the lead back at 18-17.

Both teams kept it close as the set came to the final stretch but it was the Trojans who came out on top with another close set at 27-25.

SET 5: Lewis 20, Mount Olive 18
The Trojans were the ones to start strong in the final set with an early three point run to stay ahead 5-3. This was followed by two Lewis kills by Roquet and Walenga who evened the scoring at 6-6.

No team could grab any insurance over the other in terms of offense throughout the remainder of the set with each team tying the other down the homestretch.

A Mount Olive kill and ace by lacovou propelled the Trojans on top at 18-17 but another kill by Roquet for Lewis put together a clutch three point unanswered run to close the final set and win the game at 20-18 for the Flyers.
