Indianapolis, Ind. - The Great Lakes Valley Conference announced that Luna Schafer (Playa Del Carmen, Mexico/The Trents) won the GLVC Women's Swimmer of the week for her efforts in the pool last week.

The last women's swimmer Flyer to take women's swimmer of the week was Magdalena Wlordarkiewicz in 2022.

Luna dominated her events, taking 1st place in the 50 Free with a time of 25.14 and another 1st place in the 200 Free with an impressive 1:58.17. She also anchored the 400 Free Relay with a 54.75 split, helping her team defeat Olivet Nazarene last weekend. 

Up next the Flyers head to the Windy City to take on the University of Chicago.
