LEMONT, Ill. – The Lewis University women's golf team took home the team title Tuesday at the Flyer Fall Intercollegiate at Cog Hill Golf and Country Club. The Flyers finished with a three-round total of 913 (+49) after carding rounds of 298, 303 and 312. Davenport finished in second place with a 927 total, while Wisconsin Parkside was third with 977 strokes.
The top two individual spots also went to Lewis as
Sophia Lawler (Racine, Wis./Prairie) shot a 223 (+7) to win the tournament, while
Kendall Farm (Carol Stream, Ill./West Chicago) was second with a 225. Davenport's Venetia Chap placed third with a 226, while Lewis'
Kyra Simon (Rockford, Illinois) tied for fourth with a 231.
