Romeoville, Ill. - After defeating Southwest Baptist 3-2 to punch their ticket to the postseason for the 35th time in program history, the Lewis University women's volleyball team is set to face top-seeded Missouri-St. Louis in the first round of the GLVC Women's Volleyball Championship on Nov. 21 at 11:30 a.m.
The GLVC Women's Volleyball Championship will take place from Nov. 21-23 at the Williamsville High School Field House in Williamsville, Ill. Each of the four quarterfinal winners from Friday, Nov. 21 will advance to the semifinals set for 2:30 PM and 5:30 PM Saturday, Nov. 22. The winners of the semifinal matches will face each other on Sunday, Nov. 23 at 12 PM for a shot at being crowned 2025 GLVC Women's Volleyball Champions. Lewis has won four consecutive GLVC Women's Volleyball Championships and is looking to claim their fifth.

Earlier this year, the Flyers and Tritons battled in Romeoville, Ill., with the Tritons winning, 3-2. Despite the loss, Ann Kelly Veilkov led the Flyers with 13 kills and
Lily King (Channahon, Ill./Kent State) had a total of 27 assists.
Kynzie Lilly (Richmond, Texas/Southwest Baptist) topped off a total of 31 digs. Lewis is also 35-12 all-time against UMSL and 5-3 against the Tritons in neutral site games.
