Box Score Romeoville, Ill. - The 2025 Lewis Men's soccer season ended Sunday (Nov. 2) after a loss to the University of Indianapolis on senior day.
Lewis ends the season 5-6-7 overall with a GLVC record of 4-6-4 while UIndy becomes 10-4-3 with a conference record of 8-4-2.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Lewis controlled the opening minutes of the game pushing the ball into the Greyhounds defense, even with some shots and corner kicks the Flyers were unable to put a ball into the net. The first half ended with score of 0-0.
Lewis once again started the half with some good offensive sets but was unable to pull away. UIndy scored the first and only goal in the 69th minute with a shot from Lucas Bedleg.
Jeremiah Higgins (Chicago, Ill./Lane Tech) was the man in net for the Flyers playing a full 90 minutes with one save and one goal allowed, while the Greyhounds sent out Keerti Unnamatla for a full 90 minutes with no goals allowed and two saves.
