INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The Great Lakes Valley Conference announced Wednesday (June 25) that 32 Lewis student-athletes earned the 2024-25 Brother James Gaffney Distinguished Scholar Award. 

To qualify for the Br. James Gaffney, FSC Distinguished Scholar Award, a student-athlete must earn a 4.0 GPA for the academic year. The award is named after former Lewis University President James Gaffney, who served as Lewis' president for 28 years, including two terms as chair of the GLVC Council of Presidents.
