ROMEOVILLE, Ill. – Lewis University women's bowling coach
Scott Taylor has announced the addition of seven newcomers for the 2025-26 season.
Ellie Boley – The Plainfield North alum spent the past two years as a captain for the Tigers. She increased her average by 85 pins from the start of her freshman year till graduation. She finished her career with a 166 average and a high game of 279. The Business major earned the Senior Athletic Award at Plainfield North and helped the Tigers advance to sectionals the past two years, finishing 17 pins short of state this past winter.
Blue Herman – A Nursing major, Herman arrives from Mascoutah High School. She helped the Indians to a second-place finish at High School Nationals and a fourth-place finish at the Illinois State finals after averaging a 188. She also helped the Indians to regional and sectional titles.
Lilia Herman – The Mascoutah High School alum helped the Indians finish runner-up at High School Nationals. She finished in 11
th place individually at High School Nationals with a 207 average. She placed 65
th at Illinois State, helping Mascoutah finish in fourth place in the state. She helped the Indians win regional and sectional titles.
Addison Rathmann – The Communication Sciences and Disorders major was a four-year MVP and captain at Schaumburg High School. She placed second as a freshman in the MSL with a 172 average. As a junior she was second and carried a 182 average. As a senior she won the MSL Conference and finished with a 201 league average. She won the Schaumburg Regional with a 1,312 over six games and followed that up by winning the Hoffman Estates Sectional with a 1,216. She advanced to the final day of state where she finished 54
th. She finished 24
th in the country at High School Nationals, averaging a 202.
Paige Rawlings – The South Elgin High School alum was the St. Charlies East Regional champion, shooting an 1,176 over six games. She shot a 1,151 at the De La Salle Sectional, helping the Storm win the team title. She finished 32
nd at the state finals with a 2,338 over 12 games and helping South Elgin finish 12
th in the state. At High School Nationals she placed 12
th with a 207 average.
Kate Schmudde – The Oswego East graduate finished fifth at the Illinois State Pepsi meet averaging over 190. She finished 21
st at the Illinois High School State Finals with a 2,399 over 12 games, helping the Wolves place sixth in the state. She shot a 1,213 over six games at sectionals to help the Wolves finish in third place and advance to state.
Chloe Wood – The Physics major comes to Lewis from Melbourne, Florida. She has a 192 house shot average and a 175 sport average with a 300 game and 700 series to her credit. She was the 2024 Florida Junior Gold Series Player of the Year and finished 14
th in the Florida Pepsi Youth Championships. She has had a pair of first-place finishes in traveling tournaments to go along with a second and third-place finish.
