South Bend, In. – Lewis University STUNT kicked off the 2026 season with a convincing 23-6 win over Saint Mary's College. The Flyers established control early, scoring in both of their first-quarter opportunities while holding Saint Mary's scoreless to jump out to a 2-0 advantage.
Momentum stayed with Lewis in the second quarter as they added three more points, taking a 5-0 lead into halftime. The Flyers showed consistency across multiple routines, setting the tone for the remainder of the match.
Lewis widened the gap in the third quarter, capitalizing on successful routines to extend the lead to 11-2. The Flyers closed the match with their strongest showing in the fourth quarter, outscoring Saint Mary's 12-4 and securing the dominant season-opening victory.
The Flyers' performance highlighted their depth and execution as they move forward into the rest of the season.

Malone began to pull away in the second quarter and extended their lead to 11-5 heading into halftime. Lewis continued to battle through each possession but struggled to slow Malone's momentum during the middle portion of the match.
The Flyers showed resilience in the third quarter, earning points in several routines to keep pace, but Malone maintained control and entered the final quarter with an 18-10 advantage.
In the fourth, Malone closed out the match with a strong finish, outscoring Lewis 14-6 to secure the win.
With the result, Lewis moves to 1-1 on the season, while Malone improves to 1-0.
