Lewis Men's Soccer Releases 2026 Schedule

Romeoville, Ill. – Lewis University head men's soccer coach Evan Fiffles revealed the 2026 schedule on Thursday (July 23), a 16-game slate that features a mix of eight home matches and eight road contests.

The regular season starts on Aug. 27 at 5:00 p.m. at home against Purdue Northwest. Excluding the 2020 season which only saw the Flyers play schools within the GLVC due to COVID-19, Lewis has faced Purdue Northwest each year to begin its season dating back to the 2017 campaign. Lewis then heads to Kenosha, Wisconsin, to wrap up the month of August with a road match-up against Parkside on Aug. 30.

September begins with back-to-back road conference matches against William Jewell (Sept. 5) and Maryville (Sept. 9).

After returning to Romeoville, the Flyers will host Rockhurst on Sept. 12 before welcoming Quincy on Sept. 16. The match-up against the Hawks will mark the 30th meeting between the two programs, with the series dating back to 1997.

Lewis travels to Southwest Baptist on Sept. 19 before returning to Romeoville to host UMSL on Sept. 23. and Drury on Sept. 26. The Flyers close the month with a trip to Lebanon, Illinois, to face McKendree (Sept. 30).

The schedule shifts to October with a road match-up at Lincoln (Oct. 3) before a pair of home matches against Missouri S&T (Oct. 10) and Illinois Springfield (Oct. 14).

The Flyers wrap up the regular season road slate with a trip to Truman State (Oct. 17) and Indianapolis (Oct. 21) before returning to Romeoville to host Upper Iowa on Oct. 24.

The 2026 GLVC Men's Soccer Championship will feature the top eight teams at the end of the regular season. First-round matches will be played at campus sites on Nov. 1 before the tournament shifts to Drury for the semifinal round on Nov. 6. The championship match is scheduled for Nov. 8, with the tournament champion earning the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Division II Men's Soccer Championship.

Details on how to purchase tickets and a promotional schedule for all men's soccer home matches will be announced later this summer.
