2013 Highlights: Academic All-GLVC and Delahanty Award honoree…on the mound for the Flyers, he made 16 appearances with one start…threw a season-high 3.1 innings in relief against Bellarmine (May 18), where he struck out a season-high three batters…at the plate, he made two starts in five appearances in the outfield.

2012 Highlights: Played in 21 games with two starts in right field...made four relif appearances on the mound...didn't give up a run in 1.0 inning in game two at Indianapolis (April 7) and in game one at Northern Kentucky (May 6)...gave up just one run in 3.0 innings in game one at UW-Parkside (April 18)....scored three runs and on base four times thanks to two walks, a single and a hit by pitch in game two vs. Upper Iowa (March 28)...walked and singled in game two vs. Findlay (March 4)...threw out the potential tying run at the plate to end the game in game one vs. Saint Joseph's  after entering the contest as a defensive replacement to start the inning (April 1).

2011 Highlights: Played in 19 games with five starts (four at right field and one in center field)...had three singles, two runs scored and an RBI at UW-Parkside (May 10)...had two doubles and a run scored vs. UW-Parkside (April 6)...singled and scored at Christian Brothers (March 12)...walked twice and scored vs. Mary (March 4).

2010 Highlights: Played in 34 games with 33 starts (20 at center field, nine at left field and four at right field)...made no errors in 52 chances...recorded five assists...had two hits and two RBI at St. Francis (April 27)...doubled in to knock in two runs at Maryville (March 3)...recorded two RBI and a run scored vs. Northern Kentucky (April 2)...singled twice and tallied an RBI at Oakland City (March 16)...scored twice, had two hits and knocked in a run vs. Findlay (March 2)...singled twice and stole a base at Kentucky Wesleyan (April 10)...made four relief appearances, compiling a 4.91 ERA...threw a shutout inning with no hits allowed at Henderson State (Feb. 13) and vs. St. Xavier (April 8)...allowed no runs and just two hits in 2.2 innings at Bellarmine (April 25).

Prep/Personal: Earned four varsity letters in high school...as a senior, named first team all-metro, first team all-district and first team all-conference...selected to play in the Iowa Baseball Coaches Association All-Star series...second team all-conference, second team all-metro and second-team all-district during his junior season...finished with a 2.85 earned run average and 32 strikeouts in 31.2 innings...batted .376 with 32 RBI and three home runs...also the starting quarterback on the football team...named to the honor roll every semester...played club baseball for American Legion Hanford Post #5 and the Perfect Game Scout League...son of Doug and Jean Thomas...criminal-social justice major.
