GLVC Player of the Week April 13 after batting .667 (10-for-15) with eight runs scored, four RBI and four stolen bases in Lewis[apos] 4-0 GLVC weekend; she had at least one hit, one run scored and one stolen base in each game ... tied NCAA Division II record by hitting safely in 35 consecutive games; the streak ran from March 20-May 2; she batted .480 (61-for-127), scored 33 runs, drove in 13 and struck out just twice in 127 at-bats ... set the Lewis school record for hits in a season (82) ... led the GLVC in batting (.398) and hits (82), and was second in at-bats (206) and total bases (103), third in on-base percentage (.421) and fifth in runs scored (37) ... led the team in batting average (.398), at-bats (206), runs (37), hits (82), doubles (13), triples (4), slugging percentage (.500) and total bases (103) ... was second on the team in RBI (24) and third in stolen bases (21) ... hit safely in 51 of her 58 games played ... registered 22 multi-hit games, including 14 two-hit games, seven three-hit games and one four-hit game ... went 3-for-5 with two doubles and drove in a career-high five runs in a win over Bellarmine (3/21) ... was 4-for-4 with two doubles vs. Saint Xavier (4/27).

Deans[apos] List student both semesters and Delahanty Award recipient ... starting left fielder ... led the team in batting average (.288), at bats (153), runs (23), hits (44), triples (4) and walks (12) ... ranked second on the team in stolen bases (14) and outfield assists (7) ... had a team-best 15-game hitting streak from April 10-April 26; batted .417 during the streak with 10 runs scored, five stolen bases and just three strikeouts ... batted .323 with three triples, 12 runs scored, five RBI and eight stolen bases during GLVC play ... ranked 20th in the GLVC in runs scored and 26th in batting average ... was 4-for-7 with three runs scored in a doubleheader vs. Missouri-St. Louis (April 18) ... was second on the team with nine multi-hit games.
High School: Earned four varsity letters ... unanimously selected all-conference first team after batting .459 with 45 hits, 35 runs, three doubles, two triples and 18 stolen bases as a senior ... did not strike out during her senior year and helped team to an 18-13 record ... was named second-team all-conference as a freshman and junior and earned a first-team award as a sophomore ... named first-team all-area as a junior when she batted .526 ... helped her team win three consecutive conference championships as well as regional championships her freshman and sophomore years ... Eastland lost in the Class A state championship game where she was named to the Class A all-tournament team her freshman year.
Personal: Daughter of Tom and Karen Martz ... completed work on her bachelor[apos]s degree in accounting in December and is pursuing an MBA.
