Biography

2013 Highlights: Appeared in 10 matches…had a career-high six kills at Grand Canyon (February 3)…posted a career-high five block assists against Cal Baptist (January 1).

2012 Highlights: Played in seven matches...recorded four kills and four block assists vs. King (March 13)...added two blocks and three blocks vs. Lindenwood (March 17).

Prep/Personal: Earned first team all-conference, Middletown Press First Team All-Area and New Haven Register First Team All-Area accolades as a junior after helping team to a 20-2 record, the school’s first conference title and an appearance in the state semifinals...earned second team all-conference accolades as a sophomore...in the classroom, was a member of the honor roll, National Honor Society and the Spanish National Honor Society...played for Mizuno East Volleyball Club...won first place in Flight Two at the Junior Olympics...son of Christopher and Eileen Nelson...biology major.
