2015 Highlights: Recipient of the Br. David Delahanty Award - given to Lewis student-athletes for academic excellence - and named to Academic All-GLVC Team...appeared in eight games with seven starts...averages .222 with four hits and two RBI...went two-for-three with a double and a RBI against Findlay (Feb. 20).

2014 Highlights: Appeared in 17 games with three starts...batted .083 (1-for-12)...roped a pinch hit triple and scored in a 9-1 win over Dominican (March 3)...recipient of the Br. David Delahanty Award - given to Lewis student-athletes for academic excellence - and named to Academic All-GLVC Team.

2013 Highlights: Appeared in 16 games, including four starts...batted .158 (3-for-19) with one RBI and one run scored...recorded a RBI and scored a run in an 11-4 win over Quincy (May 4) in the GLVC Tournament...collected singles agaisnt Upper Iowa (March 20), Kentucky Wesleyan (Apr. 21) and Saint Joseph's (Apr. 28)...Br. David Delahanty Award winner - given to Lewis student-athletes for academic excellence and named to Academic All-GLVC team.

2012 Highlights: Appeared in 15 games, including six starts...batted .240 (6-for-25) with two RBI and five runs scored...drove in a run and scored a run in a 6-2 win over Upper Iowa (Feb. 11)...ripped a RBI double in a 4-3 win over Missouri-St. Louis (March 7)...went 2-for-3 with a run in the 8-6 win over Bellarmine on March 31st...recipient of the Br. David Delahanty Award - given to Lewis student-athletes for academic excellence and named to Academic All-GLVC Team.

Prep/Personal: Lettered in both volleyball and softball at Elmwood Park...three-time All-Conference selection...earned team 'Spirit Award' as a sophomore...helped Elmwood Park to a pair of berths in the IHSA State Quarterfinals, including four regional championships and two sectional championships...batted .394 with 13 RBI as a senior...was .356 at the dish as a junior with three homers and 20 RBI...played for the Elmwood Park Lady Tigers Travel team for six years...member of the National Honor Society, Honor Roll, AP Scholar and Illinois State Scholar...daughter of Daniel and Sonia Garcia...majoring in biochemistry.
