2016 Highlights: Started all 50 games that she appeared in...named to D2CCA, NFCA All-Midwest Region and All-GLVC First Teams...selected to the CoSIDA Academic All-District 4 Team...named GLVC Player of the Week for the period ending March 6th, as she batted .476 (20-for-42) with 13 runs scored, seven RBI and six doubles out of the leadoff spot in 12 games...led team in batting average (.439), runs (42), doubles (17), total bases (106), slugging percentage (.620), hits (75) and on-base percentage (.487)...totaled a team-best 24 multiple-hit games and added six multiple RBI contests...collected two hits, drove in a run and scored a run in a 7-5 win over Drury (April 24)...went 2-for-2 with a run and a RBI in the 7-2 win over William Jewell (April 17)...batted 2-for-4, including a two-run homer, with three RBI, two runs in the 6-5 win over Rockhurst (April 16)...went 2-for-2 with a solo home run in the 13-4 (5 inn.) win over UW-Parkside (April 13)...was 6-for-8 with five runs scored and two RBI in the doubleheader sweep over Saint Joseph's (March 26)...went 3-for-4 including a leadoff home run in the 3-2 win over Grand Valley State (March 22)...was 2-for-3 with three RBI, including a two-run double, in a 5-4 loss to Quincy (March 20)...collected three hits and a RBI in the 9-1 (6 inn.) win over Cedarville (March 5)...went 3-for-3 with two runs and a RBI in the 11-7 come-from-behind win over Notre Dame College (March 3)...was 3-for-4 with three runs scored and a RBI in the 9-1 win over Gannon (March 1)...went 3-for-4 with a RBI and a run in the 6-2 win over Kentucky Wesleyan (March 1)...recipient of the Br. David Delahanty Award - given to Lewis student-athletes for academic excellence...named Academic All-GLVC.
2015 Highlights: Recipient of the Br. David Delahanty Award - given to Lewis student-athletes for academic excellence - and named to Academic All-GLVC Team...appeared in 47 games with 46 starts...averaged .290 on the season with 47 hits and 15 RBI...had her first collegiate home run against UMSL (March 21)...led the team in doubles with 15...went two-for-three with two doubles and a RBI against Walsh (March 4).
Personal/Prep: Earned three letters at Fenwick...helped her team to a Regional Championship with .399 batting average as a senior...accumulated a .500 batting average and a Sectional Championship as a junior...named All-Conference her last two seasons as a Friar...daughter of Nicholas and Jill Cairo...biology major.
