2014 Highlights: Competed in five races...named GLVC Freshman of the Year following a 19th-place and season-best finish of 25:46 at the 8K GLVC Championships (Nov. 8)...finished 18th overall at the 8K Greater Louisville Classic (Oct. 4) Silver race with a time of 26:22.70.

Prep/Personal: Four-year letterwinner in both cross country and track and field for Mather...two-time IHSA state cross country qualifier - highlighted by a 33rd-place showing at the 2012 Class AA meet...keyed Mather to a pair of Top 20 finishes at the IHSA Class 2A Cross Country championships in 2011 and 2012...earned a pair of Top Ten finishes at the Chicago Public League City Championships...part of Mather team that earned two runner-up finishes at the City Cross Country Championships...major is biology...son of Filqete and Astrit Tahiraj.
