2017 Highlights: Finished first in the 200 meter dash (25.08) at the Illiana Invitational (Jan. 13) recording a personal-best... recorded a personal-best in the 60 meter dash with 7.56... recorded a personal-best in the pole vault with a 12' 4 1/2" mark.

2016 Highlights: Recipient of the Br. David Delahanty Award - given to Lewis student-athletes for academic excellence - and named to Academic All-GLVC Team...reached a height of 10’ 11” for a third place finish while pole vaulting at the Lewis Twilight (April 26).

2015 Highlights: Recipient of the Br. David Delahanty Award - given to Lewis student-athletes for academic excellence - and named to Academic All-GLVC Team...posted a season-best height of 3.65m in pole vault at the Benedictine Eagle Invitational (Apr. 11). 

Prep/Personal: Letterwinner in both soccer and track and field at Westmont...was a sectional champion and IHSA State Qualifier as a sophomore...named to both the Academic All-Conference Team and Honor Roll as a senior...member of the scholastic bowl that finished 27th in the nation in 2014...member of the Environmental Club...son of Chris and Martha McDermott...major is environmental science.
