Biography

2017 Highlights: Placed second in both the long jump (22' 2 1/4") and 55 meter hurdles (8.11) at the Illiana Invitational (Jan. 13), recording a personal-best in the long jump... finished third in the triple jump (46' 1 1/2") at the GVSU Holiday Open (Dec. 2)... finished third in the triple jump (44' 4") at the NAIA Challenge (Jan. 21).

2016 Highlights: Named to Academic All-GLVC Team. Recorded personal best and first place finish after reaching distance of 47’ 1” in the triple jump at the Cougar Invitational (April 22)…won triple jump titles at the NAIA vs. NCAA Challenge (45’ 5 ¾”: Jan. 22), Chicagoland Championships (NCAA Provisional 47’ 1”; Feb. 12), and NCC Cardinal Classic (46’ 5 ½”; Feb. 27)…set personal best time in 110-meter hurdles (15.19) at GLVC Championships (May 5).

2015 Highlights: Took home the 400-meter hurdles title with a time of 56.94 at the Greenville Select Meet (Apr. 4).

Prep/Personal: Earned two varsity letters in soccer and four varsity letters in track and field at Jefferson City...earned the honors of Freshman Track Athlete of the Season, Most Improved Player Sophomore Year and MVP Sophomore and Senior Year...son of Felicia and Magnus John...majoring in interactive media.
