2016-17 Highlights: Recipient of the Br. David Delahanty Award – given to Lewis student-athletes for academic excellence - and named to Academic All-GLVC Team... finished the season 13-15 in singles competition and 14-11 in doubles... won in both singles and doubles play in Lewis victories against Prairie State (Feb. 6), Hillsdale (Feb. 13), Quincy (Feb. 24), Lake Superior State (Mar. 1), Bellarmine (Mar. 24), Saint Francis (Mar. 24), Saint Joseph's (Apr. 1), Illinois Springfield (Apr. 7), and McKendree (Apr. 8).
2015-16 Highlights: Went 15-15 in singles and a combined 13-18 in doubles play...recipient of the Br. David Delahanty Award - given to Lewis student-athletes for academic excellence - and named Academic All-GLVC...won the No. 6 singles flight at the Art Peterson Invitational (Sept. 4-5) with wins over UIS, Western Illinois and Lindenwood...earned a 7-6, 6-2 win over Ball State's Patrick O'Connor at the Purdue Fall Invitational (Sept. 27)...won the deciding singles match in the 5-4 upset of then No. 15 Drury (Feb. 26), with the 7-5 6-0 win over Damien Minguez at No. 5 singles...picked up a singles and a doubles victory in team wins over Newman (Feb. 27), Arkansas-Fort Smith (Feb. 28), Saint Francis (March 20), Tiffin (March 25), Wayne State (March 26), Saint Joseph's (April
8), McKendree (April 15) and UIS (April 16).
Prep/Personal: Played in the number one singles spot his last two years and earned four varsity letters at York…aviation flight management major… set the record for most career wins with 123 and most single season wins with 41 in singles…son of Colleen and Karl Peterson... aviation flight major.
