2014 Highlights: All-GLVC Second Team…played and started 50 games (49 in left field and one in right field)…led the GLVC in home runs (9), second in doubles (17), fifth in the GLVC in total bases (106) and fifth in slugging percentage (.576)…recorded a home run and two singles to knock in two runs and scored three times at McKendree (April 26)…recorded three hits with an RBI at Quincy (March 17)…knocked a three-run home run vs. Bellarmine (May 4)…walked twice, recorded a hit and an RBI vs. Quincy (March 15)…scored twice on two hits vs. UW-Parkside (April 1) and vs. UIS (April 11).

2013 Highlights: Started in 50 games in his first season as a Flyer…named All-GLVC Second Team, ABCA Midwest Region Second Team and NCAA Midwest Regional Tournament Team…at the Midwest Regional, with two outs in the top of the ninth inning, he hit a two-run home run to give the Flyers the 5-4 victory over Ashland…starting in all four games in the Regional Tournament in left field, Murray batted .305, hit three doubles and a home run for a .769 slugging percentage…he led the Flyers in runs (46), home runs (10), total bases (101), slugging percentage (.623), walks (35), on-base percentage (.473) and batting average (.333).

Prior to Lewis: Played a season each at Morton College and Moraine Valley Community College.

High School/Personal: Four-year letterman in baseball at Downers Grove North ... As a senior, he had a .340 average with five home runs...son of David and Debbie Murray...Biochemistry major.
