2016-17 Highlights: Recipient of the Br. David Delahanty Award – given to Lewis student-athletes for academic excellence - and named to Academic All-GLVC Team... competed in eleven meets... finished third in the 100 yard freestyle (50.75) at the Illinois State, Illinois Wesleyan dual meet (Sep. 30)... finished third in the 50 yard freestyle (22.67) in the Indianapolis, McKendree dual meet (Nov. 5)... finished third in the 100 yard freestyle (50.40) at the Findlay, Hillsdale dual meet (Nov. 12)... recorded a personal-best 100 yard butterfly (52.09) and the 100 yard freestyle at the GLVC Championships (Feb. 8-11)... recorded a personal-best in the 50 short course free (25.88) and 200 short course  free (2:11.23) against William Jewell... recorded a personal-best in the 500 yard free (4:57.84) against Valparaiso (Jan. 21). 

2015-16 Highlights: Recipient of the Br. David Delahanty Award - given to Lewis student-athletes for academic excellence - and named to Academic All-GLVC Team…won the 200 free with a time of 1:47.22 at Valparaiso (Oct. 3)…claimed a victory in the 100 free (49.17) at Findlay (Nov. 14)…won the 200 free relay with a time of 1:25.51 vs. Indianapolis (Jan. 23).

Prior to Lewis: Two-time NJCAA National Champion at Indiana River State College.

Prep/Personal: Named Cape Coast Conference Champion in the 100 and 200 free as a senior at Mel…finished his career as both a Regional and State finalist in the 100 free…aviation and aerospace technology major…son of David and Jean Marie Szakovits.
