David Heller begins his third season as a volunteer assistant for the Lewis University men's volleyball team.
He serves as head coach of Lemont High School's boys varsity volleyball team. He has worked the University of Nebraska and Creighton University volleyball camps. Heller also serves as an assistant coach for the Lewis women's volleyball program, helping the squad to two GLVC Championships during his time.
Heller is pursuing his MBA with an emphasis in accounting. He earned a bachelors degree in communications from Lewis in 2008. He was voted junior class president, and was a member of the Deans' List each semester.
Heller hails from Waterloo, Neb. and attended Waterloo High School where he was valedictorian of his senior class.
