2016 Highlights: Appeared 39 times with 39 starts…led team in walks (33)…finished season with .301 batting average and .425 slugging percentage…earned first homer as a Flyer against the University of Mary (March 1)…went 2-for-3 with a double in a win over UW-Parkside (March 25)...recorded two hits, two RBI and one stolen base at Indianapolis (April 3).
Prior to Lewis: Completed two years at Parkland…named team captain for his final season…played in 40 games behind the plate, hitting .400 with 20 RBI as a freshman.
Prep/Personal: Earned four letters in both baseball and soccer at Greensburg…selected as a three-time All-Conference player, as well as All-State Honorable Mention as a senior, for baseball and a two-time All-Conference player for soccer…claimed both the Sectional and Regional baseball championships as a junior along with the Sectional and Regional soccer championships as a senior…accumulated 97 RBI and 19 homeruns with consistent batting averages over .440 during his final three years at Greensburg… played club ball for the Cincinnati Flames…criminal social justice major…son of Kenny and Donita Schultz.
